C Charles Tillot  entered the School of Fine Arts in Paris  in 1836. In 1846 , exhibited at the Paris Salon, the official. In 1860 he moved to the French town of Barbizon, where he met  and painted with Jean -Francois Millet  and  Theodore Rousseau .He also was in  contact with the important impressionist group of artist led  by Edgar Degas and Henri Rouart .
He exhibited with them many times He painted mostly of landscapes and floral paintings.Impressionist  Nudes like this,are rare for him
