This is unsigned so it will be sold as attributed but it comes from the estate of the artist sold in the Tampa area. Arthur E. Schneider was born in 1866 in Madison, WI and died on February 7, 1942. He lived and worked in New York City (1905-1913), Cleveland, Chicago, Tampa, FL, and Boston, MA. He was a member of the American Watercolor Society in New York City. Schneider also exhibited at the National Academy of Design in 1896; the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in 1915; and the Boston Art Club from 1901 to 1904 and then 1907 to 1908.His address in 1901 was 30 Boylston Street, Boston, MA; in1902 and 1903, 246 Boylston Street; in1907 and 1908, 107 East 27th Street, NYC; and, in1926, 939 8th Avenue, NYC.
