Wynna Wright an American illustrator born in Chelsea, MA, on November 9, 1899, the daughter of John W. (newspaper editor) and Grace Wright. She graduated from Smith College in 1921. Ms. Wright died on March 11, 1980 in Contoocook, NH. She illustrated the following children’s books: Two young Americans in Mexico by Dorothy Durbin Decatur, Billy Gene and his friends by Maude Barrows Dutton Lynch, Goose Towne tales by Alice Lawton. Her papers are held a the University of Connecticut and she is included within the Diana Korzenik collection of art education ephemera and books, 1780-1982.
