Born in Hillsdale, MI on April 26, 1886.  After graduating from Hillsdale College, Charlotte taught art there in 1908-09.  She resigned to marry Avery Field and moved with him to Riverside, CA.  The couple established a photography-art gallery in the Mission Inn.  Mrs. Field studied painting locally with Anna Hills and sculpture with Lora Steer.  She died in Riverside on June 9, 1954.  Exh:  Riverside AA; Casa de Mañana (Berkeley), 1930.
