DESCRIPTION:
Beautiful Art Moderne WPA-style mural design for Parkway Towers office building built in 1938 in Yonkers, NY.  The location’s address has been changed and the building is now a condo residence.  We included images of the building currently and of the installed final work in the lobby.

BIOGRAPHY:
Agnes Marie Thorley [1904-2003] was an American Realist painter and designer.  She exhibited her work at major venues like the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the Corcoran Gallery of Art, and the National Academy of Design.  In the 1940s Thorley designed wallpaper for the Kent-Bragaline, Inc.
