Radically traditionally modern : the rise of Art Nouveau
January 25 – February 22, 2021
The Industrial Revolution replaced human labor with machines and up-ended society, spurring a reactionary counter-movement known as Art Nouveau. Grounded in the tradition of nature and exalting the individual, the movement created a radically new traditionally modern moment.
