Slight in-painting throughout the painting. Professionally restored.  Frame is late 18th-century,

DESCRIPTION:
The Crucifixion, ca.1615 is a Roman catholic depiction of Jesus on the cross. Benedictine monks in black robes and hoods kneel to the left. The Benedictine monks swear a life of poverty and devote themselves to Jesus. On the right, Saint Joseph of the Franciscan friars in grey takes a knee with Mary to his right. There were likely pigments that were glazed over the Mary figure in blue, but the colors faded and became fugue. In the background are large Byzantine churches.
