Original untouched patina. Missing bottom plate.
DESCRIPTION:
Typical of Art Nouveau vases, this one in bronze recalls similar makers of France including: Anton Heingle, Carl Kauba, Gustave-Joseph Cheret and others. The vases features four handles and a series of clematis flowers and vines. The beautiful shape of the vase echoes a closed flower. The vase may have originally been gilt.
