A copy of a letter from La More’s wife, Mary T. La More, to a Macomb, Michigan collector, Paul Youness [1930- ] who purchased the work from the estate included with the work.

This letter will serve to document your colletion of Chet La More works of art, all of which were in my personal collection. These works were done from the 1930’s to the late 1970’s and include oil paintings, water colors, drawings (pencil, ink, charcoal and crayon) etchings, collages, ink washes acquatints prints (several varieties) and matal sculpture some were signed on front or back or both sides, some not at all. Chet, over time, had at least 3 different signatures. Some of the metal sculptures have name and date on the bottoms. I have signed your orange file cards, one for each of your acquisitions.

La More collections with few omissions, pretty well covers Chet La More’s artistic career and contains some outstanding examples of his works
